International Headache Academy iHEAD (Europe) - London

The International Headache Society (IHS) is proud to sponsor the third European International Headache Academy (iHEAD), to be held in London, UK, from 21–23 October 2016.

iHEAD is designed to inspire a long-term commitment to Headache in young neurologists and research scientists via an educational programme focused on clinical and research aspects of Headache Medicine. It is our goal to develop and mentor future leaders in the field. We are targeting senior Neurology residents, Headache Medicine fellows and MD and/or PhD clinicians/researchers currently enrolled or within 5 years of having completed their training.

This 3-day programme will offer a highly interactive and intensive overview of Headache including pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of migraine, cluster headache and related primary headache disorders. In addition, there will be a number of practical workshops on clinical trial methodology, biostatistics, physician-patient communication, evidence-based training including critical literature search and appraisal, manuscript preparation and publication, presentation skills and animal and human headache research methodology.
